I am a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) and Chancellor’s Fellow in the Department of Government and Public Policy at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow. I study the international political economy of finance and development, interested in sovereign debt, financial markets, capital flows, aid flows, government transparency, and international organizations.

My book How Governments Borrow, on the politics of sovereign debt composition in emerging markets, is with Oxford University Press. Related work is published in British Journal of Political Science, Governance, International Organization, International Studies Quarterly, Journal of Politics, Review of International Organizations and other outlets. See my CV for more.

I also teach graduate and undergraduate courses on international and comparative political economy, politics, and development.
